THE WOMAN BEHIND KETO FOR MAMAS

Hey there Mama! My name is Katie Rodriguez, Founder, and CEO of Keto for Mamas. I grew up in Lansing, Michigan, and for those of you who know anything about the Midwest, I'm sure you can vouch for Pillsbury, ranch, and Chef Boyardee serving as dietary staples.

Fortunately, early on, I determined that my Midwest diet wasn't serving me. I experimented with paleo, veganism, ayurvedic, and beyond. Though it seemed that no matter which dietary agenda I subscribed to, I still battled mean sugar cravings and a ferocious appetite until I discovered the ketogenic diet.

To me, keto is much more than a diet— it's a way of life.

 

Keto provides the framework necessary to fuel my body effectively and efficiently. And I've found that when my body is fueled appropriately, cravings become 100% more manageable. "Going keto" has reconditioned my palate to enjoy the taste of unadulterated, wholesome food— essentially allowing me to shift my focus from denial and deprivation to breaking habitual cycles, supplementing with healthy alternatives and allowing occasional indulgences. 

My ketogenic success has defined my purpose— to help women (and their beautiful babies) live a healthier, more vibrant life— beginning on a cellular level.

Yea, I'm losing weight, but is this sustainable?

Isn't a high-protein diet dangerous?

I get it— there's a lot of noise out there. And people have all sorts of opinions about what you should or should not be eating. I believe high-protein keto is the optimal diet (for me) for longevity and overall health and vitality. I also trust I have a gift to share this information and how-to with the world. 

That said, diet is very personal and absolutely bio-individual. Ultimately, your optimal diet is the diet that works best for you. This means successfully implementing a ketogenic diet is going to take some experimenting on your part. And I'm prepared to get in the trenches with you— whether that means damage prevention, dietary research, or personal advice— I'm here fore it!
