Kale Chips + Sweet Potato Fries


It certainly helps to have a dehydrator and a fryer, but neither are a must if you’re in the mood for healthy chips and fries. 

Sweet Potato Fries


  1. 1 sweet potato

  2. 2 TBL olive oil

  3. Hawaiian lava salt to taste

  4. Fresh cracked pepper to taste

Here’s How

  1. Preheat the oven to 475 degrees.

  2. Slice sweet potato lengthwise and slice into sizable french fry chunks.

  1. Toss in oil, salt and pepper.

  2. Bake until soft and crispy (20-30 minutes).


Kale Chips


  1. 3 cups raw, washed kale

  2. 2 TBL olive oil

  3. Pinch onion powder

  4. Pinch garlic powder

  5. Pinch Himalayan sea salt

  6. Fresh ground pepper

  7. 1 TBL white vinegar (for washing)


Here’s How

  1. Preheat oven to 475 degrees.

  2. Wash kale in vinegar bath.

  3. Chop kale into 1″ chunks.

  1. Toss in olive oil.

  2. Season with onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper.

  1. Bake until crispy (15-20 minutes)
